Walking and hiking in the Eggen Valley

Nestled between the legendary Latemar and Rose Garden of the Dolomites,

which have been declared a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this vacation region holds an almost unlimited variety of hiking adventures in store for nature lovers and mountain fans. There are easy walks, more-arduous hikes, and challenging routes to choose from.

Families can stroll through verdant meadows full of blossoming wildflowers, along pristine forests, and peaceful pastures, while the more-adventurous can undertake ambitious climbs and explore the mountains.

The Tourism Association conducts guided tours for beginners, but also for advanced hikers, led by a certified guide. There's a fascinating schedule of hikes every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. More information and registration at the Tourism Association (registration up until the lecture at 5:00 p.m.). In the case of mountain-climbing excursions, we recommend you contact the Mountaineering and Hiking School of Hansjörg Welscher |  www.welscher-hansjoerg.com
